About

Lucy Koukoudian is a director, producer, writer, and vocalist born in Novi, Michigan. She is a 2024 graduate of the University of Michigan, receiving degrees in Vocal Performance from the School of Music, Theatre, & Dance and Creative Writing and Literature from the College of Literature, Science, & the Arts.  In February of 2025, Lucy founded No Fly Productions, a theatrical production company focused on creating innovative and uplifting works. She serves as the Executive Producer and Artistic Director, producing the company's inaugural production, The Bohemians, in April 2025. As an artist, Lucy is committed to creating honest and nuanced performances. She is passionate about providing accessibility and an abundance of opportunities to young artists within her musical and theatrical endeavors.

From 2022-2024, Lucy had the great fortune of serving as the Stage Director and Financial Manager for Golden Theatre Company, an organization at the University of Michigan dedicated to the performance of Golden Age musicals. As a classical vocalist, Lucy has performed in University of Michigan opera productions and choral concerts. She has also had the opportunity to perform as a recitalist throughout her undergraduate career. Beyond her classical work, Lucy has enjoyed singing in Touch of Blue, the University of Michigan's premier jazz ensemble, where she had the honor of being the ensemble's Business Manager since taking over the group in 2021. Within her studies at the University of Michigan, Lucy was an Honor's Thesis Candidate at the Residential College, receiving Highest Honors distinction for her senior thesis, Point Me to the Stage: Essays on Performance, a collection of personal essays focused on her journey with classical music and theatre.
